DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Friday Eve! Before we make it to the weekend, some rain will roll through and bring us colder air.Â
Showers roll in by the mid morning and become widespread rain by midday. A few thunderstorms may join in by the early afternoon before rain tapers off in the late afternoon. This may leave us with anywhere from .25 to .75 inches of rain for the region.
The rain comes accompanied with gusty winds up to 40 mph for much of the region. As winds transition to west and northwesterly flow, temperatures will drop from the low 50s this morning to the low 20s and teens overnight.Â
