DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Stay weather aware as we go through your Wednesday. Â
Showers and storms moving out of Missouri threaten Central Illinois with severe weather late morning into this afternoon.
Along with very heavy downpours, damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes are possible between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Once we get these storms out of here early tonight, Thursday will be sunny and warm, but not as humid.
However, that break is short-lived as summer officially begins Friday evening and the weather turns hot and humid this weekend into early next week.
Highs will be in the low-to-mid-90s, but it'll feel more like 100°-108°!
