DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - While showers have primarily held off for your Thursday, rain chances will continue to rise over the next few days.
Showers begin before Daybreak Friday and will remain off and on throughout the day, however, clouds will continue to cover Central Illinois all day long.
There may be brief heavy downpours at times, especially on the back half of the day when thunderstorm chances look to come into play.
Storms look to remain sub severe, meaning severe weather chances are NOT expected Friday.
Daily rain chances will continue throughout the course of the next week, but plenty of dry time is expected each day to enjoy the warm weather pattern we are expecting to see.
