Sunshine again for your Tuesday

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Tuesday! High pressure dominates the forecast once again today, keeping us sunny with highs in the mid 30s.

Clouds will gradually build in tonight and overnight, but we’ll remain dry. Clouds continue to become widespread overnight as low pressure sweeps by to the north of us. However, our next weathermaker won’t arrive until Thursday. Temperatures will gradually warm up ahead of this weathermaker.

Widespread rain returns to the region Thursday morning and continues throughout the afternoon. A few thunderstorms will roll through as well, with areas farther into southern Illinois potentially seeing a few stronger storms.
