SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - A Springfield man has been arrested for stabbing an Uber driver last month.
The Springfield Police Department responded to a reported carjacking Nov. 11, near Durkin Drive and Lawrence Avenue.
SPD stated that the victim, an Uber driver, was attacked while transporting the suspect, later identified as 24-year-old Hezekiah Glenn of Springfield.
Police said that the victim suffered injuries from a sharp object and had their vehicle stolen.
The victim had suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Following an investigation, Springfield police issued an arrest warrant for Glenn for aggravated vehicular hijacking, armed robbery and aggravated robbery.
Glenn was arrested Dec. 9 and later moved to the Sangamon County Jail.
