DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Summer heat and humidity will continue through much of the week and into next week.Â
Central Illinois will also see two periods with daily chances of showers and storms.
While a few showers are moving through the area early today, better chances arrive this afternoon with some leftover showers tonight.
Shower and storm chances are in the forecast again Wednesday. Some of the storms in the afternoon and evening could become severe.
More showers and storms are possible Thursday with Friday looking mostly dry.
Another round of wet weather is on tap this weekend.
