DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -Â The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across central Illinois.

Cosmic Bowling
Bowl under the black lights with glowing lanes during Cosmic Bowling at Logan Lanes in Lincoln. Enjoy a night under the disco lights with family and friends as you aim to strike up a win. Â

Unity Parade & Celebration
The 32nd annual Juneteenth Unity Parade will begin at South Grand Avenue along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Brown, before finishing at Comer Cox Park.Â
When: Saturday, 9 a.m.
Where: South Grand and MLK, Springfield
Henson Robinson Zoo Day
Springfield residents can celebrate the City's proclamation of Henson Robinson Zoo Day, which will be free for all ages. The last admission will be at 4:30 p.m.
When: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Henson Robinson Zoo, Springfield
Mahomet Soda Fest
Indulge your taste buds during the 2026 Mahomet Soda Fest. Visitors can sample over 100 soda flavors. There will also be a kids area, food vendors and more on site.Â
Live music from Lexi Tieffel will take place from noon to 1 p.m., and Love Sign from 2-4 p.m.
When: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sunday Storytime
Decatur kids are invited to the Children's Room at Rock Springs for stories songs, and most importantly, fun. Children will have a chance to listen to some nature stories, move around and more.Â
