5 Things to do this weekend

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across central Illinois.

Here is a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening Friday, March 27, to Sunday, March 29. 

RV & Camping Show

In the market for an RV? What about a camper? The Springfield RV & Camping Show will feature various industry vendors, campgrounds and anything else you might need for your next vacation.

When: 3-8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday

Where: Bank of Springfield Center, Springfield

Adult Easter Egg Hunt

Get ready to party with an Adult Easter Egg Hunt at the West of Wise Winery. Tickets are available online and will include access to the hunt and one glass of wine. 

When: 1-2:45 p.m. Saturday

Where: West of Wise Winery, Petersburg

Raptors Up Close

Get an up-close look at hawks and other raptor birds and learn about their roles in the ecosystem with the University of Illinois' Wildlife Medical Clinic. The event is free, and registration is not required.  

When: 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday

Where: Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, Mahomet 

42nd NMRA Train Show

Railroad enthusiasts of all ages, the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) has the perfect event for you this weekend. This event will let attendees put on their conductor's hats and operate display layouts, build something at the make-and-take table and more. Admission is free. 

When: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday

Where: Lincoln Square Mall, Urbana 

Lincoln Memorial Garden Pancake & Sausage Breakfast

Have those appetites ready for the Lincoln Memorial Garden's Pancake & Sausage Breakfast. Guests can enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes with real maple syrup and sausage on the side. Fifty reservations will be accepted every half hour. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are preferred. 

When: 8 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sunday

Where: Lincoln Memorial Garden, Springfield
