DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - ADM Decatur volunteers helped pack and distribute Thanksgiving Day food boxes to those in need at the Northeast Community Fund Friday.

ADM employees stocked shelves and helped shoppers with carrying items and loading groceries. They have been helping pack Thanksgiving boxes at the Northeast Community Fund from Nov. 11 – Nov. 26.

Since 1969, the Northeast Community Fund has helped needy families in the Decatur and Macon County community, providing basic needs of families, financial support to those in hardship and giving resources to help move people out of poverty.

The Northeast Community Fund is located at 839 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. in Decatur.
