DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Sunday! Our week starts with partial sun this morning, but more clouds are on the way as our next weathermaker slowly moves into the plains.
Behind departing high pressure and ahead of a slow-moving warm front, warm air will be ushered in from the south for the first few days of the week. This warmer pattern begins today with highs in the low 60s this afternoon. Tonight, we’re much cloudier, and this will keep lows in the low 50s overnight.Â
After our start to the warmer pattern today, we will nearly warm to the 80-degree mark on Monday and Tuesday. However, showers and storms on the way for Tuesday evening will bring a swift return to cooler, more seasonable air.Â
