Finalists to paint mural in downtown Urbana

URBANA, Ill. (WAND) - An artist will be chosen soon to paint a mural in Downtown Urbana. 

The City of Urbana Arts & Culture Commission, along with 40 North Arts Council, are spearheading a mural project for the east side of the Tiernan Building that overlooks the parking deck downtown. 

The Arts & Culture Commission will make their final choice at the next Arts & Culture Commission meeting April 14. 

The two finalists are Alixandra Jade of Casey, Illinois and Langston Allston from New Orleans, Louisiana.
