DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The annual Blue Jean Ball will return to Decatur next month.
The ball is a fundraiser for God's Shelter of Love, a shelter that provides services to homeless women and children in Macon County.
They operate two shelters and say they need the community's help to continue providing those services.
Director of God's Shelter of Love Dan Watkins said, "The great thing for me is simply, listening to people's stories and figuring out how best that we can help them where they're at to get the best version of them."
The event is Thursday, Oct. 10 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1 Bachrach Ct. in Decatur. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Dinner starts at 6 p.m.
