SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski will join AFSCME public service workers and retirees for a news conference regarding the impact of "devastating" cuts caused by the "Big Beautiful Bill."
The press conference will take place at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Illinois AFL-CIO in Springfield.Â
Speakers will detail how families in the state's 13th congressional district will be impacted by Congress-approved cuts to vital services.
