DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Children's Museum of Illinois in Decatur announced a new community mural and interactive display.
Families will get the chance to create an art piece during one of three upcoming sessions.
The sessions will take place from 9-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, and Saturday, April 4, both at the Children's Museum, while the third session will occur from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Decatur Public Library.
The museum said the goal is to combine all art pieces into one large mural, which will travel around the community to share the power of play.
The sessions will be guided by a local artist.
