SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Ponch will take a break from patrolling the California freeway to visit the 12th annual Powerlight Abe Lincoln Car Show this weekend.
The cruise in will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, and the main car show will occur from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Cherry Hills Church in Springfield.Â
Classic cars, trucks and motorcycles will be on display, with the opportunity to cruise with "CHiPs" star Erik Estrada.Â
Estrada will be in attendance from 6-10 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Cherry Hills.Â
There is no charge to meet Estrada, but autographs, patches, badges, Ponch ID cards and more will be available for purchase.Â
