DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A man was hurt in an overnight shooting in Decatur early Saturday morning, according to the Decatur Police Department.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. near Cantrell Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.Â
DPD told WAND News that officers found a man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital and then air lifted to another hospital's trauma center.Â
His condition is not known and his name has not been released.
Investigators have a suspect description but declined to share it publicly. No arrests have been made.Â
Police haven't said what led to the shooting.
