DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Chase those tails on down to PawPrint Ministries this weekend to show support for comfort dogs in the community.
The TAILgate will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at PawPrint Ministries in Decatur.
PawPrint Ministries said on Facebook that the event will feature comfort dogs on hand and training facility tours. Food and drinks will be available for donation, and personal pets are encouraged to be left at home.
According to PawPrint Ministries' website, the organization began in April 2014 and has more than 45 trained comfort teams providing services like visiting nursing homes and providing support during emergencies or disasters.
