MACON COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - A wind turbine caught fire in rural Macon County near Warrensburg Sunday night.Â
The Warrensburg Fire Department was called out for the fire at 8:40 p.m.Â
The wind mill generator was heavily damaged, and the wind mill is considered a total loss.Â
No injuries were reported.Â
The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.Â
Kenny Fire and Latham Fire were also called to the scene to help.Â
Crews were on scene until 11:30 p.m.Â
