(WAND) - A photography contest through the Illinois State Treasurer's office could earn your kid a college scholarship.
Treasurer Michael Frerichs announced the 2026 Cream of the Crop photography contest.
Students must be between eight and 18-years-old, and they should submit up to two photos that creatively highlight Illinois agriculture.
Judges will choose the top photos in three age-based categories: 8-10, 11-14 and 15-18.
Students who place in the top three in each of the categories will receive Bright Start scholarships of $1,000, $500 and $250.
