DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The Macon County Environmental Management Department's 2025 paint and electronic collection season is coming to a close, but there is still time to give.
Collection days have been reduced to one Saturday per month for paint and electronics. The days will be October 18, November 22 and December 27 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Unwanted electronics like computers, televisions and gaming systems will be collected with some fees applied. There will be a $10 fee for each television or monitor, and a $5 fee for each microwave.
Collections will be at the Macon County Environmental Management's Recycle Center at 151 W. Wood St., Decatur, IL. More info can be found on the environmental management website.
