MATTOON, Ill. (WAND) - Pilson Powersports is partnering with Can-Am to donate a $30,000 side-by-side UTV to Camp New Hope in Neoga.
Pilson will make the donation Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the camp's facility at 1364 County Rd 100 East.
The donation will support the camp's mission of providing inclusive recreational experiences to those with special needs.
The Can-Am Defender XT will help the camp's maintenance team by facilitating hauling of materials such as limbs and supplies across the 41-acre property alongside Lake Mattoon.
Derek Scroggins, General Manager at Pilson Powersports, said, “We are honored to contribute a machine that not only supports property upkeep but also contributes to sustaining a wonderful environment for campers and their families. Kathy Beals, Executive Director of Camp New Hope, added that “without community-focused businesses and organizations like Pilson Powersports and Can-Am, acquiring such vital equipment would be challenging.”
