DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Heritage Behavioral Health Center in Decatur is looking to connect with the community.

The organization will host "Stronger Together" from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Decatur Public Library.

The public will also have a chance to ask leaders questions about the building and what it will bring to the area.

Heritage Behavioral Health Center President and CEO Mary Garrison said it is important to have these kinds of resources in central Illinois.

"We're really living in a healthcare desert here in our community regarding behavioral health, and so the state has decided to invest in Heritage, and we're really honored to be able to move forward with this project and give back to the community," Garrison said.
