Preheat your ovens for the Decatur Area Holiday Baking Challenge

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Get your sweet tooth ready this weekend for the Decatur Area Holiday Baking Challenge.

The event will take place from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Perfect Pair Vendor Market in Warrensburg.

Professional and home bakers in the area will compete for bragging rights and prizes.

There will be free samples, a bike giveaway and photo opportunities with the Grinch.

The event will also take items like hats, scarves, gloves, mittens and more for its winter wear donation drive.

The challenge is free to the public.
