MAROA, Ill. (WAND) — The Maroa fire department will continue an over 35 year old tradition on Christmas Eve.
The department will escort Santa around the town to say hello to all of the residents. Maroa FD said Santa should arrive at the firehouse at around 4:30 p.m. From there, he will be escorted by fire department vehicles with lights and sirens on a fixed route around the town.

The fire department said it will use the same route as last year.
