The city of Urbana is now accepting applications for funding to help low-income homeowners who need emergency and accessibility repairs.

URBANA, Ill. (WAND) - The Urbana City Council has a busy agenda Monday night. 

Council members are expected to vote on a proposed 32-unit apartment building. It has sparked concerns from some neighbors who say it does not fit the character of the historic neighborhood. 

The location is on West Main Street. It is a few blocks from downtown, just north of Boneyard Creek

They are also set to discuss a new police satellite office on Philo Road. City officials said the space would give officers a stronger presence in the area and help build relationships with residents. 

The meeting starts at 7 p.m.
