DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Hot temperatures will be sticking around Central Illinois into the weekend.
Highs today and tomorrow will reach the low-90s for many of us keeping the streak of 90-degree days going.
A few showers are possible by daybreak into Friday across our western hometowns.
Another round of scattered showers is possible Friday night.
After a sunny and hot day Saturday, shower and storm chances go up Saturday night into next week.
While any rain is appreciated, this won't be enough to break the worsening drought. However, models are hinting at some beneficial rains next week along with cooler temperatures.
