NEOGA, Ill. (WAND) -- At least one person is dead after a minivan hit a semi-truck on Interstate 57 near Neoga.

It happened near the Neoga exit around 11:20 a.m. Saturday. 

Illinois State Police said, the minivan was traveling south and crossed into the northbound lanes and hit the semi-truck. The minivan then caught fire. 

This is an active investigation and there is no further information at this time.
