CLARK COUNTY - Illinois State Police say one person was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 early Saturday morning.
ISP officials say the crash happened near mile post 145 at about 12:55 a.m. According to the preliminary investigation into the crash, authorities say a Honda Civic was traveling east on I-70 when it left the roadway to the right, striking a median before rolling over and coming to a rest on its top.
Troopers say the driver of the vehicle reported that he had fallen asleep at the wheel. The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Three other passengers inside the vehicle refused treatment at the scene.
The investigation into this crash is ongoing.
