(WAND) - A man is behind bars after Illinois State Police arrested him on child pornography charges.
ISP said 48-year-old James Barnard of Girard was arrested April 1 for possession and dissemination of child sexual abuse material.
The investigation stemmed from a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
ISP said special agents searched Barnard's home on April 1 and arrested him on the scene.
Barnard is being held in the Macoupin County Jail as the investigation is ongoing.
