CLINTON, IL- DeWitt County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested three men in connection with two separate robberies in the county.
Joseph Debauche, 35, of Wapella, was arrested Wednesday and charged with residential burglary. Debauche is accused of stealing over $5,000 worth of items from a home in the 8000 block of Township Road in rural Wapella. That robbery was first reported on June 30.
Sheriff Deputies also arrested Skyler Hallowell, 18, and Salar Dean, 19, both of Chicago, for allegedly breaking into an apartment in Kenney early Wednesday morning.
According to police, two men forced their way into an apartment in the 100 block of Johnson Street just before 5 a.m. Wednesday. When confronted by a resident, the men fled on foot.
After investigating the scene, police developed information that led them to 313 E. Benjamin Street in Kenny. Deputies executed a search warrant and subsequently arrested Hallowell and Dean. Â
