(WAND) - The meal prep delivery service Blue Apron is issuing a warning after one of the products that comes in some boxes showed the potential presence of Salmonella.
Blue Apron e-mailed subscribers to let them know one of their suppliers is conducting a voluntary recall of its sesame tahini product.
The sesame tahini was included as an ingredient in the Dukkah-Spiced Beef & Couscous recipe.
Anyone who has already prepared and ate that meal is asked to contact their medical provider if they are feeling sick.
In the e-mail, the company stated, "We sincerely apologize for this ingredient issue. Ensuring that our customers receive high quality, fresh ingredients that are safe to eat is always our highest priority.
