DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The cause of a house fire is under investigation in Decatur.Â
At 1:18 a.m. the Decatur Fire Department was called to the area of Marietta/Edward for reports of a house on fire. Heavy fire was coming from the back of the one-story house in the 300 block of W. Marietta.Â
Firefighters were able to get the fire put out by using a hose line and ventilating the house by cutting a hole in the roof.Â
The Decatur Fire Department said the house was unoccupied.Â
DFD's Investigation Bureau is conducting an investigation. No injuries were reported.
