BLOOMINGTON - A central Illinois man who's facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with the November 2014 death of his ex-wife entered a plea in court on Friday.
Authorities say Kirk Zimmerman, 56, pleaded not guilty to the charge. Â Zimmerman was arrested last week in connection with the death of Pamela Zimmerman, 53. Â In addition to the plea, Zimmerman's attorney requested a reduction in bond.
Police say Pamela Zimmerman was found shot to death in her Bloomington office last year. Â We will provide more details as they become available.
