CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - In collaboration with CredibleMind Champaign-Urbana Public Health district launched a site where residents can check their mental health with a simple click of a button.

Community Health Planner JR Lill explains that this is only the beginning of what's to come for the community.

“We can see how many people are looking for things like anxiety or depression and then we can start making community level plans to support that. We don't get individual user information and it's treated like public health information so it's not shareable, it's totally confidential.” said Lill.

The project is funded by a grant through The National Association of County and City Health Officials. Once people complete one of the assessments, they're met with resources that can help with anything they're facing.

“It gives you a couple different metrics that it follows, and it can give you resources for like your anxiety levels are a little higher than what’s considered usual and so here are a few things that you can do to help that.” stated Lill.
