ILLINOIS - In order to help state residents combat the heat, several state facilities are being opened as cooling centers as part of the "Keep Cool Illinois" campaign.

More than 120 state facilities are designated cooling centers under the campaign.  We've included a list of cooling center locations for Macon, Sangamon, and Champaign Counties below:

Macon County:
