DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - 2 individuals in Danville were arrested on Saturday on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, being under the age of 21.
According to Danville police, officers were informed Saturday evening of subjects with firearms in the 1600 block of Edgewood in “The Grove” apartment complex.
Officers made contact with several subjects in the apartment, which led to further investigation.
With the assistance of the Vermilion County State’s Attorney’s Office, officers were able to obtain a Vermilion County search warrant for the same apartment.
Danville PD located three illegal firearms during the investigation.
20-year-old Roderick D Otis of Danville and a 17-year-old juvenile from Danville were both arrested and booked at the Vermilion County jail.
