DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A third person has been arrested in connection with a homicide in Danville from earlier this month. 

According to the Danville Police Department, officers responded to the 300 block of Plum Street on July 10 for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found a man, identified by the Vermilion County Coroner as 24-year-old Krisean M. Watson, who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

After the initial investigation, police found and arrested 19-year-olds Javonte Forman and Erik Jimenez. Both were charged with aggravated battery — public way, mob action, and first-degree murder. 

On July 26, 18-year-old Nathan Gray Jr. of Danville turned himself in at the Public Safety Building. Gray had an outstanding Vermilion County warrant for his arrest with the charge of First-Degree Murder. The arrest warrant stemmed from the investigation into Watson's shooting death.
