JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (WAND) -- The Jacksonville Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident that occurred early Sunday morning.
According to police, officers responded to the 1000 block of North Clay Street at approximately 2:45 a.m., after receiving a report of gunfire in the area.
During their investigation, officers located evidence confirming that shots had been fired. Investigators believe no one was injured.
The case remains under investigation, and no arrests have been made.
