DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A man was arrested for aggravated battery after an apparent stabbing in Decatur.
The Decatur Police Department responded to a call about an injured person at the Sundown Lounge, Sunday evening.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a 54-year-old suffering from an apparent stab wound to the abdomen.
The victim was transported to Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Following an investigation, probable cause was established by Decatur PD to arrest Morgan Russell, 59, for aggravated battery.
Russell was located and is booked in the Macon County Jail.
