ONARGA, Ill. (WAND) -Â A 19-year-old in Iroquois County was arrested after police said he attacked a paramedic.
Joseph Burke, 19, of Onarga, IL, was arrested on July 11. Police said Burke was charged with aggravated battery to a medical worker.
According to the Iroquois County Sheriff's Office, the paramedics requested police assistance after Burke attacked a medical worker while they were trying to provide medical assistance to someone else.Â
Burke was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he was later released with a notice to appear.
