SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) has named its first chief administrative officer for HSHS St. John's Children's Hospital in Springfield.
Aryn Hunter will take over the position on July 19.
According to HSHS, Hunter will oversee nursing, operations and other organizational functions for the Children's Hospital.
HSHS added that Hunter brings 20 years of experience to the position and currently serves as the chief administrative officer at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.
"Aryn brings the operational vision and drive to guide the Children's Hospital through its next chapter of growth, and I am confident she will elevate the level of care we deliver to the children and families who depend on us," said HSHS Central Illinois Market President and CEO Brian Brennan in a statement.
