CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - A woman is charged with attempted murder in Champaign after being accused of using her car as a weapon during an argument. 

Champaign police said that 38-year-old Kotia Fairman drove into another woman at Market Street and Bradley Avenue Sunday morning before driving away. 

The victim's condition is not known at this time. 

Fairman will face four charges, including attempted murder and aggravated battery. 

According to Champaign County court records, Fairman was arrested on Monday and pleaded not guilty at her arraignment. 

She will have a pretrial detention hearing on Tuesday.
