DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A second Decatur Moves rider who shot at one of its transit vans during an argument in February has pleaded guilty.

Macon County court records stated that Devon Garrison was sentenced to one year in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon.

He will receive credit for time previously served from Feb. 7 to July 7 and will serve his sentence at 50%.

According to Decatur Public Transit, a Decatur Moves vehicle was shot at Feb. 6 near the intersection of North Portage Place and East Mound Road shortly after dropping off two passengers.

A sworn statement said that Donley and another man, Javonta Donley, were getting a ride through the Decatur Moves program.

An investigation revealed that both men began arguing as Donley got out of the van.

Police said Donley then shot at Garrison, who then shot back.

Donley and Garrison ran from the scene but were later taken into custody.

Garrison previously pleaded guilty in June to charges of aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon and reckless discharge of a firearm.
