SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Illinois State Police released dashcam video Wednesday of a deadly trooper-involved crash from April. 

ISP said the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. April 25 near 6th Street and Linton in Springfield.

Police said the trooper was going south on 6th Street when they hit the man, identified by the Sangamon County Coroner as 45-year-old Charles Henderson, who was bent down in the road.

Henderson was taken to the hospital, where he later died. 

The coroner said Henderson died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash. 

ISP said its Division of Internal Investigation handled the case and submitted all evidence to the Sangamon County State's Attorney for review.
