Customer outraged over candy made to look like 'Breaking Bad' meth

PROVO, Utah (WAND) - A customer of an FYE store in Utah is demanding rock candy made to look like blue meth from the TV show Breaking Bad be pulled from shelves.

"When I saw the end cap full of breaking bad candy meth, I couldn't believe my eyes. What kind of example are you trying to set for the children in your store?" Parker Twede wrote in a letter to FYE.

Breaking Bad tells the story of Walter White, a school teacher turned meth cook and dealer. The candy is meant to look like the nearly pure meth he cooks, which has a blue color to it.

The candy item is also available on the chain's national website.
