DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — A 51-year-old Danville man died Monday afternoon after falling into the street while cycling on the sidewalk.
Danville PD said Christopher S. Dyszkewicz was around the 700 block of East Main Street when he lost control and fell into the street as a semi-trailer was driving past him. The driver stopped immediately and called police for medical help.
First responders gave the man aid, but he died at the scene of the crash.
The driver was not issued a citation.
