DEWITT COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) -  A 73-year-old woman has died in a rural house fire, according to the DeWitt County Coroner's office. 

Coroner Randy Rice said the fire claimed the life of 73-year-old Patricia Mae Smith. 

She was the only person living n the home at the time of the fire. 

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
