DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A house fire in Decatur displaced one adult and three children.
According to the Decatur Fire Department, at 12:42 p.m. on Saturday, firefighters were called to a home in the 1200 block of W. Sunset Avenue for a report of a house fire.
When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and a large fire inside the home.
According to the department, the fire was under control shortly after firefighters arrived.
The 4 people inside the home were able to escape. The American Red Cross has contacted the family and is helping with emergency housing assistance.
No one was hurt. The fire is under investigation.
