Decatur, IL – The Decatur community loses a doctor. The Macon County coroner says 44-year-old Dr. Emmanuella Joseph died Friday. Her body was found in her office just before 11:30 that night. The coroner says the cause of death is still not clear, while lab and toxicology testing is completed. Foul play is not suspected.
Dr. Joseph was a plastic surgeon for Midwest Center for Plastic Surgery in Decatur.
In January, Decatur doctor John "Rocky" White was killed in a plane crash in Alabama.
