Decatur police arrest 2 on multiple meth-related charges

DECATUR - The Decatur Police Department says two people were arrested on multiple meth-related charges during the early-morning hours of June 15.

Decatur police say Street Crimes officers, the department's Emergency Response Team, and FBI Springfield Division executed a search warrant at a home in the 1200 block of East Prairie Avenue at about 12:37 a.m.  According to Decatur police sworn statements, two individuals were located inside the home at the time of the search.

Decatur police say officers allegedly found several pseudoephedrine hydrochloride pills in the home, as well as other materials used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.  Both residents, identified as Jacob Larry, 28, and Tiffany Bridgman, 31, were taken into custody.

Decatur police say Larry and Bridgman faces charges of aggravated participation in the manufacture of meth, possession of meth manufacturing materials, possession of meth precursors, and using property to violate the Meth Control Act.

This incident is still under investigation by the Decatur Police Department.  We will provide more information as it becomes available.
